‘Once’ is a series of photographic images, and moving image which lie somewhere between where we have been and where we might go. This exploration of the mysterious, curious and extraordinary environments of Iceland, applies the idea of island biogeography - the study of how species and eco-systems evolve differently when isolated.  This is a conception of the Earth, that appears as a possible future.
